Cover letter


___I am writing to apply for the 3d modeler position.

___When I was a child I loved comics, toys and unrealistic illusions. Usually people grow out of liking these things; however, I still love them just the same. They are a part of my passion. My motivation of learning 3D graphics goes back to the time when an online PC game called ‘Diablo 2’ was released in KOREA. I was astounded by their break taking innovation in the field of game cinematics and game contents which stimulated the player’s imagination. It was a shock to me and this drove me into the CG world.

___Since last fall, I have really enjoyed clay sculpting with some awesome instructors at my school. One Instructor often showed me the master’s pieces and explained through them my sculpting problems positively. Because of him I began to understand why Canova’s feet are amazing and why Giambologna’s hands are overwhelming to many people. By learning from the masters, my 3d works improved at the same time with my clay sculptures.

___It is my opinion that every human’s face, no matter how ugly, has some form of beauty within them and I really take pleasure in watching people and finding those small details that make them unique and beautiful at the same time. I hope to be a 3d modeler who can give a model, realistic recreation of abundant imagination.
